Today the team completed a lot of important steps to making this house. First thing, we made an assembly line of every one of us to deliver blocks for the walls of the house. Five more rows of cinder block were laid as well as two windows were installed. Next, the Honduran boys helped us mix mezcla and deliver the very heavy buckets up the hill to the house. That process repeated itself until a very yummy, well-deserved lunch was served. After lunch, Suzanne and Alexis held a bible school for the twenty children that wanted to participate. Each day the kids get more comfortable with us being here and wanting to play with them all the time. It's a blessing to see their faces light up when they're given a few crayons and a coloring page. From there, dirt was shoveled, mezcla was mixed and delivered, cinder blocks were laid, and a soon to be beautiful home was many steps closer to being built.
