Today is our final
full day in Honduras. We led a worship
service in Tapatoca, enjoyed a great meal in Choluteca (including a visit with
our friend for the past 15 years, Daisi), visited friends in El Carrizo, then had
a closing devotion time this evening. We
will leave Mount Horeb at 6:30 AM tomorrow morning and hope to not have any
travel delays. We look forward to
returning to loved ones tomorrow night.
Joel is staying in Honduras to continue working with another team for
another couple of weeks.
Each of our 12 team
members has been invaluable this week, from our two new members Beau and
Alexis, our returning founding member Jeremy, our members returning after a
brief hiatus, Tommy and Ron, and our other veteran team members, Keith, Tom,
Dennis, Steve, Joel, John, and Suzanne.
Thank you for your prayers as we have been on this journey. We have shared the Gospel, worked to provide
a home for a family here, visited old friends, made new friends, and grown
closer to each other. Along the way, we
have each been blessed beyond measure with this time and in this place. Gloria a Dios por todas sus bendiciones.
